Founder’s Message
I’ve spent 25 years at the point where strategy, technology and creativity meet — founding, building and scaling ventures, learning something new from each one.
At the centre of it all is one idea: almost everything that matters runs on genuine connection. It’s not just sentiment — the longest-running study of human happiness ever conducted found that relationships predict our health and happiness more than money or achievement. I think that’s just as true in business.
Every show is an engineered moment for people to find each other; the right buyer, the right supplier, the right idea, in one room at the same time. That’s where deals get made, and value is created.
Technology’s job is to make those moments happen more often, and more easily; clearing away the friction that used to stand in the way.
