The Trade Association Forum (TAF) was established in 1999, to encourage best practices among UK trade associations and to promote the role of effective trade associations to government, industry and the general public. The Forum provides a range of services to its members, to help them in strategic development and day to day functioning of their organisations. TAF's annual Best Practice Award was held on November 7, 2013 at CBI Conference Centre, Centre Point, London. The event which entered its 11th year is held annually to recognise, reward and promote best practices amongst Trade Associations in the UK. Awards were handed out in 11 different categories and five special awards were announced too. When TAF contacted Coconnex, it had been looking for a digital networking solution that helped event attendees maximise their productivity and also be very easy to use for them as organisers of the high profile event.

Coconnex supported and powered the Best Practice Award held by TAF this year. Coconnex's Networking Accelerator supported the event with a powerful, premium, exclusive digital experience, helping all its delegates in networking in a private, walled environment. The Networking Accelerator helped the TAF delegates to set appointments and meetings with delegates from their respective fields. Coconnex also provided the event with a customised mobile website. As many as 80 percent of the delegates who attended the event, used the Networking Accelerator and found it immensely useful.
