Now in its 18th year, Soccerex is a leading global event organiser for football related business and industry. Soccerex events are held all over the world where businesses of all sizes in the football industry are brought together on a single platform. The event helps attendees to develop contacts and build a huge network of business associates across the world.
The Soccerex events calendar includes five days long Soccerex global convention which consists of a conference, an exhibition, gala dinner and a football festival. Soccerex Forum, however, is a three days event mainly consisting of conferences.
Coconnex in Action
Coconnex have been providing services to Soccerex since 2008.
Soccerex 2008-2011
In 2008, Coconnex services for the Soccerex conference included the Networking Accelerator and tracking/reporting features. These tools helped delegates to arrange meetings and communicate with other delegates and sponsors and also get usage analytics that helped them promote their event’s popularity to more prospects.
After receiving considerable initial success,Coconnex is now being used for the entire Soccerex event which includes an exhibition, a conference and a festival. Through the years, we have been providing a variety of modules including Exhibitor Manual, Interactive Floorplan and Networking Accelerator. To meet Soccerex's specific needs and world class service expectations, we also added certain customised features within these modules to suit their specific business processes.
For Soccerex events in 2011, Coconnex added the multi-lingual feature to the convention website. This converts the conference website's language from English to Portuguese and vice versa.
Soccerex 2012
For Soccerex events in 2012-Rio de Janeiro 2012, European Forum 2012 and African Forum 2012; Coconnex provided the Interactive Floor Plan, with a sales view. The sales view helped the Soccerex sales team to book, sell and manage their stands in an effective, efficient and time saving manner.
Additionally, For Soccerex events in 2012, the enhanced features included a floor plan grid that would highlight the planned layout of the stall. The exhibitor could view the walls available for his stall, plug points and the lighting arrangements on the floor plan itself.
We also added a product category/listing page where a Soccerex administrator could create categories and upload products that exhibitors might need for their stalls. The exhibitors could search for products from this list and purchase as per their requirements.
Coconnex’s Exhibitor Manual worked as a very effective bridge between Soccerex, exhibitors and facility providers that provided online requisition forms for exhibitors.
