ISEEVENTUS

The International Sourcing Exposition for Elevators and Escalators (ISEE) organised by ISEEVENTUS, is a fast-growing trade show, held biennially and draws global participation.  ISEE planned to scale 4X without increasing its internal team or compromising the quality of its delivery. 

The Challenge

Scaling a show 4X in just three editions posed a major operational challenge. The ambitious growth plan placed significant pressure on the lean operating team, increasing their workload. Rising upfront costs, increased sales and marketing investment, customer acquisition efforts and the sheer volume of coordination required to deal with venue limitations, technology integration, sponsorship, and operations threatened to overwhelm the small team.

To address these challenges, ISEE partnered with Coconnex to streamline and digitise its exhibition operations.

Coconnex has been a trusted technology partner for ISEEVENTUS, having supported an earlier edition of ISEE with the Coconnex Online Exhibitor Manual. Already familiar with the platform and people, the ISEE team naturally turned to Coconnex once again, this time to leverage the Interactive Floor Plan, a proven solution trusted by global brands and to become the first in India to offer self-service stand rebooking.

Taking a consultative approach, the Coconnex team worked closely with the organisers to understand the transition challenges from manual processes to automated workflows. The collaboration resulted in implementation of an online rebooking process using Coconnex’s Interactive Floor Plan all managed by ISEE’s small yet determined team. Initially, the online rebooking feature was made available to invite-only, preferential exhibitors during a limited window at the 2024 show. After this period, the floor plan was unlocked and made accessible to all exhibitors.
